Who Is Garsiyya

Garsiyya ibn Ibrahim ibn Sulaiman al-Qurtubi is a 10th Century Andalusian Moor living in Cordoba during the reign of Abd al-Ramen III. Garsiyya is a scholar and minor poet. He rode in the reconquest of Andalusia but now enjoys the good life in the rejuvinated Cordoba.

Who Is Patrick Vine

Patrick Vine is a software engineer living in Cape Town. His wife (then girlfriend), Sister Mairi Jean, introduced him to the SCA at the end of 2001. He is sadly not a poet but tries to be well rounded. We now have two children and are introducing them to the wonders of the SCA!
